„Baczynski"

"Baczynski" is a poetic and biographical film that defies the previously known division into genres, the canon of perceiving film works.

Mysterious and ambiguous as the poetry and life of Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński. Everyone will perceive it in their own way, interpret it for their own needs, will have different reflections and feelings.

Plot

On the one hand, it is a story about the poet and his perception of reality, about the need to put oneself to a deadly test in order to fulfill oneself and create. On the other - about the senselessness of war and art, which is timeless and immortal. A journey through the last years of the great poet's life closes with a buckle of a contemporary event - a poetry slam organized in 2011, on the ninetieth anniversary of Baczyński's birth. The narrative of the film is built on the poet's poems, accounts of witnesses of events from years ago who knew him personally, and statements of young people fascinated by his work.
